At Field Head Farm, our site is now 10 years old and meets full Caravan and Motor Home Club Certificated Location requirements to a high standard along with a few extras that have been added along the way.

We offer 5 spacious pitches which are all gravel hard standing with their own individual electric 16 amp hook up points. There is plenty of room on your pitch for an awning, we just recommend you use re-enforced metal pegs, (it really is ‘hard’ standing).

Due to the design of our site, we are open all year round and in all weathers, so you can have peace of mind when booking ahead.
The Old Dairy hosts a communal kitchen area with a large washing up sink and constant hot water. A washing machine is also available for use, for a small donation. Locally hand-made Daltons Dairy Ice-cream and local free range eggs are for sale, aside some handmade gifts. Adjoining this is a toilet and wash area with hot water.

“Wi-Fi” is available and covers the length of the site, though please understand this is Wi-fi in a field although the signal is good, there can be times when it behaves as the internet does, and not always how we’d like it to.

We have our very own “Tourist Information Centre” (TIC), which has the CAMHC certificate and Electrical test certificate displayed. It is well stocked with information, including local attractions and maps, along with details of some great walks you can take either directly from our site or a short drive away. Just borrow what you need.

There are a selection of paperback novels, DVD’s and classic board games available like a library. Just borrow as you’d like and swap with one of your own even.

Pitch Availability

Pitches are £17.50 per night, which includes EHU, everyone in your party, any awnings, pets etc and Wi-Fi. All bookings do require a 50% non-refundable deposit by either BACS or card payment over the phone.

We also offer a Reward Card to say thank you to all the lovely friends we are making along the way. Just stay with us for 7 nights and get the 8th free, (we don’t mind if these nights are consecutively or spread over a year or two).

Other things to note:

• Arrival is from 12 noon onward and departure also by noon please, although should you like to arrive before or stay late it, it may be possible for you to do so. Please just ask
• Well behaved children are most welcome on our site and naturally parents will always be fully responsible for them.
• As we are part of a working farm we request that guests do not feed the animals and remain on the actual CL site in the interests of their own safety.
• Please feel free to bring your dogs but like most sites, they will need to be on a lead at all times and cleared up after. We can happily point you in the direction of some good walks too.
