People often ask us, what is the Barn used for? Well the list just keeps simply growing.
We believe it was built to be enjoyed, so whilst it is used for celebrations and retreats at the weekends as part of a glamping site, during the week and Sunday afternoons it continues to be a versatile blank canvas.
Creative craft sessions, Powerful presentations, Beautiful Baby Showers, Team Training Sessions or Amazing Anniversaries, we’d love you to make yourself at home enjoy the Barn your way.
We can recommend a variety of activities, fabulous caterers and ways to decorate so you can create your vibe or you may want to simply light the fire, enjoy some home cooked dishes and make the most of the plentiful space as a family gathering.

Meeting Room
Our meeting room is a private, peaceful space within our 18th century barn, a unique location to motivate but also relax your team or group, encouraging inspiration.
The site will be exclusively yours for up to 24 people, along with its surrounding grounds including lots of break out spaces for smaller group work and sensitive conversations making us an ideal, versatile training venue.
We are a small family run site, with the flexibility to tailor our facilities to meet your business or group requirements. Conference facilities within a picturesque rural position that is centrally located.
We offer a selection of Teas, along with Coffee provided from our professional Nespresso machine. Wi-Fi is also included, as is a projector and screen
Team Building
Why not add some activities to build the relationships of your work or real life family and promote self-confidence and motivation, or use our indoor and outdoor spaces to create your own.
You may be looking to run a retreat or course yourself, in which case we may be able to recommend some complimentary collaborations.

Meeting room facitlies
The Barn offers a characterful, peaceful space that inspires connection and creativity.
Facilities:
* Full use of the meeting barn for up to 24 people, arranged however you like.
* Projector and large screen
* Selection of teas and Nespresso coffee machine
* Wi-fi and Bluetooth speaker
* Fully functional Kitchen with all crockery and cutlery provided
* A bar with large drinks fridge, ice buckets and all glassware should you want to bring your own drinks
As well as the main Barn, you have exclusive use of all the facilities within the Barnside location, adding so many more possibilities to the way you spend your time with us.
This includes a Fire pit, fabulous for winding down and de-briefing at the end of a session. The 22 shed, a large outside Barn offering shelter from the elements but a comfortable connection to the great outdoors as a smaller group or as a collective.
Heated cabins offer more toilets separate to those in the Barn along with 4 Power showers to warm you up after those exciting outdoor activities. Large grass areas are ideal for team games, group photo’s or simple picnics in the sunshine
The Lake is also there to be enjoyed, clearing the mind and revitalising the spirit with a calming walk around it’s perimeter.

We’ve found it works best when our guests contact, arrange, and pay suppliers directly – it saves anything getting lost in translation and helps your caterer understand just how they can help you.
We don’t take commission from any of the suppliers listed below; we simply recommend them because they’re reliable, easy to work with, and consistently get great feedback.
Of course, you’re more than welcome to use a caterer you already know and trust. We’d just ask that they visit the site beforehand so they can get familiar with the facilities and layout. We also kindly request a copy of their liability insurance – it all helps your event run as smoothly as possible.
The other alternative is to bring your own? We’ve a fully functional kitchen and provide all crockery, cutlery and glassware – we’ve even a dishwasher!

2 Chefs Catering – Deb & Rich 2 Chefs Catering
These two bring great energy with their food truck, which always goes down a treat. They’re also experienced high-end chefs, so if you’re after a beautifully presented 3-course meal with a strong farm-to-fork ethos, they’re a brilliant choice.
Thyme to Dine – Jon Thyme to Dine
Jon is super versatile and very reliable. He’s a regular here for hen parties and offers everything from BBQs to sit-down meals. Based in Newcastle, he may have a minimum order for travel, but his menus are excellent value.
Croxden Catering – Helen Croxden Catering
Helen specialises in homemade sandwich platters, cakes, and sweet treats, all using locally sourced ingredients. She’s lovely to work with, really affordable, and happens to live just at the top of our lane!
Papa Leeks Papa Leeks
Wood-fired pizzas that taste amazing and bring a great atmosphere to the event. They usually require a minimum spend, so they’re a great option for bigger gatherings.
Dove’s Delights Doves Delights
Incredible quality and a very popular choice, so availability can be tight. They offer delicious platter deliveries with a minimum order and have a wide selection of menu options.
The Jam Jar Catering – Nikki The Jam Jar Catering
Nikki creates beautiful grazing tables, which are very on-trend at the moment and look stunning as a centrepiece for your food offering.
Meeting in the barn pricing
4 hour session
8am to 12pm, 1pm to 5pm or 6pm to 10pm; £200 for up to 10 people and £10 per extra person
Morning & Afternoon
8am to 5pm; £350 for up to 10 people and £15 per extra person
Morning, Afternoon & Evening
8am to 10pm; £500 for up to 10 people and £20 per extra person
24hr stay with accommodation £100 / person min of 10
*The Barn is available Monday to Thursday and also Sunday Afternoons
**Base prices include up to 10 people along with Wi-Fi, projector, tea, coffee and water.

Accommodation
Our accommodation comprises of three heated, bespoke glamping huts, each sleeping up to 8 people in each.
Warm, Comfy single beds on site, allowing you to park the car and enjoy your stay without any further travel.

I recently held an event celebrating my business’ fifth birthday and all my clients were very impressed with this fantastic venue. What a breath of fresh air to find a location suitable for corporate events as well as casual events, in a wonderful rural setting…Owner Anna was fantastic, and make sure we had everything we needed, even recommending an excellent caterer for the event, which was also a hit! I will definitely be using this venue in future and recommending it to my business network.
Field Head Farm is a great place to hold a corporate meeting or celebration. It allows you to step away from the office and focus on team building and creative thinking. That’s what we did at Christmas. Truly cannot fault the venue. The team have everything you could hope for … and more besides. I hired Field Head Farm for a half day retreat where I ran a coaching workshop for 14 people. I could not recommend this countryside retreat enough, the guests absolutely loved it. It would make the ideal conference centre for anyone wanting to take a group or team of people out of the office into a peaceful location and escape from it all for a while. Anna who runs the business is so accommodating, if you have an idea she can make it happen. I will be using the farm again in the future for many more Coaching Retreats, as part of leadership development activities and much more…
We recently held a photography shoot and a corporate update at Field Head Farm, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Anna and her husband are the most delightful hosts who truly go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. They were incredibly accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and more. The farm itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking surroundings that provided the perfect backdrop for our shoot.
