Nestled comfortably by the side of the wood is our aptly name Woodland site, it offers tranquillity, seclusion and most of all escape.
Whist accommodation is provided by Beautiful Bell Tents and showers are homed in cabins, this is a far cry from Camping, ‘’darling, you are Glamping’’ ! All cabins and tents are heated, showers are hot, toilets flush and our Hideaway space is filled with Chesterfield sofas, it’s bliss.
Our base price is for up to 16 guests but our site can be home for up to 24.
We provide everything you could possibly need and more and welcome any little requests of home comforts, your stay really does matter to us.
Stay at Woodland

Firstly, lets chat about the Hideaway, our large communal space that can be whatever you want it to be, with it’s own bar, drinks fridges, ice buckets and all glassware you should ever need so you can bring all bring your own drinks and settle in.
Seating is provided with plenty of sofas so you can chill and chat together, or push them back, switch on the disco ball and enjoy some line dancing or relax into some yoga. This fabulous space means no matter the weather, you can all be together, enjoying the weekend you’ve worked so hard to plan
Just outside is a Fire pit area with seating the perfect way to get to know everyone at the beginning of your stay, all the logs are provided and we’re also happy to light it for you, you just need to bring the marshmallows!
Within this picturesque dell, which has become the hub of our site sits the COOP, Ideal should you hire hot tubs or just enjoying the night sky undercover, it’s full of character.
Our large Bell Tents with their snuggly beds won’t disappoint, they each sleep up to 6, meaning you can keep friendship groups together and have them made up as you’d like. They’re airy yet cosy, quirky but comfy and you can definitely stand up and have space to get dressed in them.
We’ve a fully functional Kitchen with a large fridge freezer, electric cooker and hob with all pots, pans crockery and cutlery provided and dining rom table. This also opens out into the veranda which offers more undercover seating but with a gorgeous view, perfect for evening meals as the sun sets or taking in the new day with a coffee.
Our Shower room with 3 large showers and powder room, big enough to accommodate everyone’s Toiletry bags and let you really feel at home. This cabin is heated as is our toilet block and well lit at night, making head torches redundant here really.
BBQ Hut sits just to the side of the veranda which also makes a fabulous serving area, even if you’re not using the grill, it also has another fridge to make life easier.
A lovely expanse of grass sits at the front of the site looking out to the fields and beyond. Games, axe throwing, picnics, Pilates and crafts have all been enjoyed here along with endless laughter and positive vibes.
The Lake is also there to be enjoyed, for simply clearing your mind, joining one of our Open Water swimming sessions or for full on fun with some water based activities – we highly recommend them all !
caterers options
We’ve found it works best when our guests contact, arrange, and pay suppliers directly – it saves anything getting lost in translation and helps your caterer understand just how they can help you.
We don’t take commission from any of the suppliers listed below; we simply recommend them because they’re reliable, easy to work with, and consistently get great feedback.
Of course, you’re more than welcome to use a caterer you already know and trust. We’d just ask that they visit the site beforehand so they can get familiar with the facilities and layout. We also kindly request a copy of their liability insurance – it all helps your event run as smoothly as possible.
The other alternative is to bring your own? We’ve a fully functional kitchen and provide all crockery, cutlery and glassware – we’ve even a dishwasher!

These two bring great energy with their food truck, which always goes down a treat. They’re also experienced high-end chefs, so if you’re after a beautifully presented 3-course meal with a strong farm-to-fork ethos, they’re a brilliant choice.
Thyme to Dine – Jon Thyme to Dine
Jon is super versatile and very reliable. He’s a regular here for hen parties and offers everything from BBQs to sit-down meals. Based in Newcastle, he may have a minimum order for travel, but his menus are excellent value.
Croxden Catering – Helen Croxden Catering
Helen specialises in homemade sandwich platters, cakes, and sweet treats, all using locally sourced ingredients. She’s lovely to work with, really affordable, and happens to live just at the top of our lane!
Papa Leeks Papa Leeks
Wood-fired pizzas that taste amazing and bring a great atmosphere to the event. They usually require a minimum spend, so they’re a great option for bigger gatherings.
Dove’s Delights Doves Delights
Incredible quality and a very popular choice, so availability can be tight. They offer delicious platter deliveries with a minimum order and have a wide selection of menu options.
The Jam Jar Catering – Nikki The Jam Jar Catering
Nikki creates beautiful grazing tables, which are very on-trend at the moment and look stunning as a centrepiece for your food offering.

Our Woodland site is only available from April to mid September.
The price is £2640 for up to 16 people. Extra guests at £165 per person (up to 24 people in total).
3pm Friday until 1pm on Sundays.
Mid weeks available, just ask us for reduced prices.

Barnside Glamping
You may be looking for a site that’s available through all seasons, our Barnside site has evolved from our original Woodland one into it’s own venue.
It still maintains the essence of escapism and originality but accommodation and communal spaces have been adjusted for all year round warmth and comfort.

We stayed for a weekend recently in the woodland camp! Ali, Anna and team were great hosts and the camp had everything we needed! All of the amenities are close within the camp and we had a fabulous weekend! We hired a hot tub and the silent disco and it was such a fun weekend.
What an incredible place! We stayed at Woodland this weekend for a hen party and we’re blown away by the amazing service from all the staff, the organisation and just how much the site hosts. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Ali was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much to ask. To top it off, a calf was born in the field next to our tents during our day 🥹 the tents had lovely bedding in and hot water bottles were provided. It was clean and spacious and clearly well looked after. A HUGE thank you to Tinkers Bells for making our experience so memorable! I hope to return for another weekend someday
I was surprised with a hen weekend away at this amazing venue. From the facilities, the set up, the hospitality, everything was 10/10. Will definitely be back
