Our Barnside glamping site is full of character and features starting with it’s large brick Barn, the perfect space to enjoy together as a group for so many activities but with smaller break out spaces too, and over a weekend you’ll be able utilise them all, inside and outside.
Large huts for snuggling down at night that are just as snug throughout the seasons and all you need for a wonderful weekend away without leaving the site.

The main Barn can be arranged however you like and we really do invite you to make yourself at home and set it up as you’d like.
It has it’s own bar with large drinks fridge, ice buckets and all glassware you should ever need so you can bring all your own drinks and settle in.
Our Fire pit area with seating is a perfect way to end the day with everyone, chatting about the good old days whilst making new memories together. We provide all the logs and are also happy to light it for you, you just need to bring the marshmallows!
The 22 shed is a very versatile outside Barn offering shelter from the elements but a comfortable connection to the great outdoors as a smaller group or as a collective. It has it’s own dart board and whiteboard for either games or films with the projector. It’s an ideal spot for eating alfresco and hot tubs in the Summer.
Two separate heated cabins resembling Shepherds huts, one with 4 individual Power showers cubicles and a dressing area and the second has 3 toilets with sink. Each have automatic lights and are well lit outside when it’s dark
Fully functional Kitchen with 2 fridges, freezer, electric cooker and hob with all pots, pans crockery and cutlery provided
Large grass areas are ideal for team games, homemade sports days, hiring inflatables, group photo’s or simple picnics in the sunshine
The Lake is also there to be enjoyed, for simply clearing your mind, joining one of our Open Water swimming sessions or for full on fun with some water based activities – we highly recommend them all !
catering options
We’ve found it works best when our guests contact, arrange, and pay suppliers directly – it saves anything getting lost in translation and helps your caterer understand just how they can help you.
We don’t take commission from any of the suppliers listed below; we simply recommend them because they’re reliable, easy to work with, and consistently get great feedback.
Of course, you’re more than welcome to use a caterer you already know and trust. We’d just ask that they visit the site beforehand so they can get familiar with the facilities and layout. We also kindly request a copy of their liability insurance – it all helps your event run as smoothly as possible.
The other alternative is to bring your own? We’ve a fully functional kitchen and provide all crockery, cutlery and glassware – we’ve even a dishwasher!

2 Chefs Catering – Deb & Rich 2 Chefs Catering
These two bring great energy with their food truck, which always goes down a treat. They’re also experienced high-end chefs, so if you’re after a beautifully presented 3-course meal with a strong farm-to-fork ethos, they’re a brilliant choice.
Thyme to Dine – Jon Thyme to Dine
Jon is super versatile and very reliable. He’s a regular here for hen parties and offers everything from BBQs to sit-down meals. Based in Newcastle, he may have a minimum order for travel, but his menus are excellent value.
Croxden Catering – Helen Croxden Catering
Helen specialises in homemade sandwich platters, cakes, and sweet treats, all using locally sourced ingredients. She’s lovely to work with, really affordable, and happens to live just at the top of our lane!
Papa Leeks Papa Leeks
Wood-fired pizzas that taste amazing and bring a great atmosphere to the event. They usually require a minimum spend, so they’re a great option for bigger gatherings.
Dove’s Delights Doves Delights
Incredible quality and a very popular choice, so availability can be tight. They offer delicious platter deliveries with a minimum order and have a wide selection of menu options.
The Jam Jar Catering – Nikki The Jam Jar Catering
Nikki creates beautiful grazing tables, which are very on-trend at the moment and look stunning as a centrepiece for your food offering.

Weekends from 1st March to 30th September we only offer 2 night stays from 3pm Friday until 1pm Sunday.
This is £2400 until 1st April 2026 for up to 16 people. Extra guests at £150 per person.
From 1st April 2026 base price is £2640 for up to 16 people. Extra guests at £165 per person.
One night winter stays available from 1st October to 28th February £1200 for up to 16 people.
From 1pm until 12noon the following day. Extra guests at £75 per person.
Mid weeks available, just ask us for reduced prices.

Woodland Glamping
If you love the idea of Glamping with us but are looking for a site that’s a little more away from it all and connected to nature, then take a look at our first Glamping Site and where it all began Woodland. Only open limited weeks though out the season.
Settled alongside the serenity of our woodland, this site promotes a calm, grounding vibe.

We celebrated my sisters hen weekend at The Barn Field Head Farm and I would highly recommend this place! The actual set up and facilities are beautiful and the owners go out of their way to make sure you have the best weekend. Nothing is too much to ask!. We had the most amazing time and we will most definitely be back for another celebration! Thank you Anna, Mick & Ali for such a fantastic weekend!
We stayed at barn side for my friends hen do, we couldn’t have found a better accommodation. They have everything you could possibly need there, the hosts are happy to go above and beyond to please you (coming to take group pics, lighting the fire when you’re out, answering any questions etc!). Being able to do activities on site too was a huge bonus. Highly recommend, thanks for an amazing stay!
