Lake at Field Head Farm

We offer a variety of activities on our lake, such as Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayaking, Raft building and Pilates on Paddleboards which are all instructor led in conjunction with Phil @ C2C outdoors.

They all offer a lot fun, confidence building and self-satisfaction for families, businesses and groups. He also runs land based activities that will run exclusively for your group and bespoke to your requirements and interests.

You don’t have to be guests at Field Head Farm to enjoy these sessions, contact us or Phil for more information.
We will also be offering activity days throughout the year for those not part of a large group.

On Saturday 25th April 2025 we launch Open water swimming as an affiliated NOWCA venue and in line with their safety standards and requirements.

All swimmers will need to be members, so pop along to their website for more information about membership, their booking system and all the benefits of joining them. You can find our listing on NOWCA here.

To swim our 200m circuit tow floats and colourful hats will be required as standard and basic sessions are £6 per person. There will be regular lifeguarded sessions on Saturday and Sunday mornings and during the week in the daytime and evening. We also plan to offer Full Moon swims too. Should your group wish to hire the lake for a private swim session please ask, we require a minimum of 10 people for this.

Facilities will include toilets and changing rooms, along with a communal space with a log burner and Nespresso machine for you to purchase and enjoy a hot drink with friends. Breakfast Baps will be available at weekends.

Lake Hire is available for self-launch with your own equipment, and also for gatherings with family and friends or should you wish to run courses or training with us. These sessions will be overseen by a lifeguard.
